Bio: I am a fabric artist and a professional minister in the Catholic Church. I am married for 40+ years to a most fabulous man. We have 4 adult children, 2 daughter-in-laws ( who we also consider to our children!) and 4 grandbabies. I love to weave, paint silk, sew and design garments for myself; bead, read, write and color. I am also a spiritual Companion/Director and have a special place in my soul for women who are healing and in need of healing from trauma and abuse. I love coffee, quiet reflective prayer time at my kitchen table and long walks to breathe in the Holy Spirit. I would like to learn how to spin yarn and will someday create a spun, hand dyed/painted, beaded, woven fabulous garment of peace!

    1. The peacock is an ancient Christian symbol for resurrection. The colors of the peacock are life giving for me. The eye portion on the feather looks like ancient labyrinths. And I serve as a lay minister and spiritual director in the Catholic Church. Additionally my background is in fashion design. It is an art project to me–I love how getting dressed, playing with beauty products and creating in so many ways brings out my soul. I want to empower others, especially women who don’t feel their beauty. So my blog is s combo of spiritual reflections, creative project “stuff” and beauty/fashion. I thought that the prayerful peacock sums it pretty well. Thanks for asking 😊

  1. I just discovered you through my friend,Michael Moore, and I’m sure I’d enjoy sitting across that kitchen table from you sharing a cup of coffee and conversation.
